Kevin strives to apply an Adlerian approach to the way he works and lives, with the goal of creating positive social change.

Key Adlerian principles developed by Alfred Adler (1870 - 1937) include:

  • Social interest – the ability to care for the cares of others.

  • Belonging – enhancing connection, belonging and courage.

  • Equality and Mutual Respect – a concept emphasizing the uniqueness of each individual. According to Adler, equality does not mean sameness. Equality means that each individual is deserving of dignity and respect.

  • Encouragement – a skill focusing on strengths, effort and improvement, contributing to the realization of the full potential in others.

Kevin is an active member of the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology (NASAP) and co-chairs their Transformative Leadership and Coaching (TLC) section.
